A big update for accounting: every organization now keeps its books and takes payments in its own currency, and bookings open in one window with the receipt right beside them. The Discord kill feed is now part of dzbot Free, new servers choose between Free and the Pro trial, and a few fixes.

Action needed​

  • If dzbot has no billing address or tax country for your organization: the next time someone opens Accounting or Monetization, choose your country and currency there (or in the setup wizard under Country & currency). Until then those pages stay locked and your players cannot pay. The choice cannot be changed later. Docs
  • If you have manual expense drafts without a vendor, or with a line without a category: booking a manual expense now needs a vendor and a category on every line. Such drafts show Details missing in the list and can be booked once you complete them. Docs

Accounting in your own currency​

Every organization now keeps its books, takes support payments and sells subscriptions in its own currency — US servers in dollars, UK servers in pounds, and so on. Existing organizations got the currency of their country automatically; new ones say where they are based and which currency they work with once, in the setup wizard (Country & currency). The kill feed is free​

The Discord kill feed is now part of dzbot Free — free, unlimited, no daily caps. Every PvP kill (with weapon, distance and kill labels) and every death by the environment goes to your kill feed channel, also after the Pro trial ends. Set the channel under Settings → Discord. The damage feed and the other feeds stay with dzbot Pro. Docs

Good to know​

  • New servers no longer start the Pro trial on their own. When you connect a server you choose dzbot Free (free, forever) or dzbot Pro (14 days free, then the monthly price), with a preview of everything each one includes. Existing servers and running trials are unchanged. Docs
  • Outside the euro area, support payments and real-money subscriptions are now charged in your organization's currency, and subscription prices are read in that currency. The dzbot subscription itself stays 10 € and is booked in your books as what your card was actually charged.
  • Manual incomes, expenses and uploaded receipts can be entered in any currency: the form shows what the amount will be booked as (ECB rate of the date) or takes the amount you actually paid, and the entry shows the original amount and rate. Docs
  • Bookings open in one window with the receipt beside the booking: edit a draft right there, attach receipts while creating it, step through the list and use Book & next. Docs
  • Drag receipts onto the Expenses tab: one file becomes a draft, several are put together into receipts first (by hand or with AI) and become drafts at once. Fill in from receipts with AI fills a draft's empty fields. Docs
  • Booking from the list now shows the booking with its receipt before you confirm, and a new filter finds drafts that are still missing details.
  • The Pro trial can be paused and resumed: under Organization → Payment, a running trial has a Pause the Pro trial button, and the days left stay yours. Every day the trial runs counts as one of the 14 days. A Free server can start it from the same page or from any Pro page. Docs
  • On Free, the Pro pages in the admin navigation are dimmed and marked with a small crown instead of a Pro tag, so the pages Free includes stand out. During the trial they look normal and keep the crown. Docs
  • Connecting a server for the free listing explains why the Nitrado login is needed (it proves the server is yours) and offers the Pro trial once at the end of the short setup. Docs
  • dzbot.de has a page for the free kill feed bot, and the home page and comparisons now say what dzbot Free includes: dzbot.de/dayz-killfeed-bot.

Fixed​

  • The total above the income and expense lists now counts like the dashboard: refunded and reversed entries no longer inflate it, and drafts are left out.
  • Manual entries show what they were for (Hosting, Software, …) instead of "Manual".
  • Invoice PDFs, the Discord /org card and the AI companion now show amounts in their real currency instead of always "€".
  • Ended subscriptions no longer pile up under "Your subscriptions": the page only lists running ones. Docs
  • The heat stroke guide explains soaking clothes and drinking correctly — soaking doesn't freeze the level, and water only stops it in the yellow above ~70 % — and has the community tip: clothing in a pot of water gets drenched in about a minute without using up the water. Guide
