v3.8.0

A feature release: events now say who wears what, event teams can be edited before the first draw, and payment setup runs right inside dzbot.

Markers: who wears what

Events can now say who wears what. Under Settings → Markers pick the colors and items (armbands, tracksuits …) an event uses; dzbot hands them out at the draw and in every later round — each side keeps what it wore where it can — and you can change any of them at any time. Optionally players pick their own color when they register. The bracket shows each side in its color with the item's picture and the team's members, and the round-updates channel and each player get told who wears what when a match starts. Docs

Payment setup inside dzbot

Setting up payments is now done right on the Monetization page instead of on Stripe's site. You pick your country and whether you receive the money as a private person/sole trader or as a company; we already tell Stripe what dzbot is, what players buy and how the casino works, so you only enter your own details, IBAN and the ID check. Docs

Good to know

  • The match-wide result text is gone: enter an optional result per side instead (rounds, points, a time). Docs
  • Event teams can be edited until the first draw: remove a player from a team (a paid entry fee is refunded), add the replacement right from the team card, and rename a team. The AI Companion can do the same. Docs
  • New Access for the payment review card on the Monetization page: a 30-day login link that shows your server to Stripe's reviewers exactly as players see it, without a Discord account. Send it whenever Stripe support asks for access. Docs
  • If you started the payment setup before and never got past Stripe's first page, it starts fresh: the Monetization page shows the new setup form again, and you choose your country and private person or company once more.
  • While payment setup is still running, the public support page already shows your text and amounts (with a note that paying opens soon), and it now names how to reach the server team about questions and refunds.
  • The draw dialog shows a bracket as its tree (byes already in round two) and swaps two teams by drag and drop or two clicks; races show their start order, group stages their groups.
  • Marker sets in the event settings: colors and each item family (armbands, flag armbands, tracksuit jackets, raincoats, ski gloves, hoodies, T-shirts, baseball caps, beanies) in a row of their own — pick single items or select all at once.
  • The bracket marks the winner with a frame and its result (or a trophy) and fades out the losing side.
  • The item catalogue knows every item's in-game name in English and German, and its color.
