v3.19.0

A big map update: save your own markers and share them with your faction or a group of friends, show your server map to guests, see the buildings your mods spawn on every map, and edit zones on a full-screen map. dzbot also reads everything DayZ 1.30 added to the server logs.

Action needed

  • Hand out the new faction marker rights. Factions have two new rights, "See faction map markers" and "Manage faction map markers". Nobody has them yet: faction admins give them out per rank or member, so new members don't see your stashes until you trust them. Docs

Your own markers on the map

Sign in on dzbot.de/map and set markers by long-press or right-click — your base, stashes, vehicles, meeting points — with icon, colour, name and a note, and drag them to move them. Your markers also show on the map of every dzbot server you play on with that map, either everywhere or only on one server, and only you can see them. Factions can share markers with each other, and a marker can become a delivery spot for the shop. Docs

Share markers with your friends

Create a group on dzbot.de/map and send the invite link: everyone in the group sees and edits the group's markers — on the public map and on every dzbot server with that map. Groups are open to anyone with a dzbot login, not tied to a server or faction, and nobody outside the group sees their markers. Docs

One map everywhere — and a public map for your server

The server map and dzbot.de/map are now the same map: your server's map gains the search, item spawns and all points of interest of the public map, and your server's layers (zones, bases, alarms, faction members, bounties, players) sit in its layer panel. Click a player, base or zone for its card. Docs

Your server map can also be public now: turn on Settings → Guest pages → Show Map to guests and visitors see your map without logging in — the terrain, the buildings of your mods and the zones you mark as Visible to guests in the zone editor. Never players, bases or alarms. While your server is paid or in its trial, it is also offered under Public servers on dzbot.de/map. Docs

Your mods' buildings on the map

Server maps now show the buildings your mods spawn: safe zones, bunkers, trader camps and every other object placed through an object spawner file appear on the map of your server website, in the zone editor, coordinate pickers, player routes and Discord map pictures, drawn like the rest of the map. Recompute it under Admin → Mods → Installed mods (once a day); it also refreshes weekly on its own. Players only ever see the picture, never your spawner files. Docs

Zones on a full-screen map

Zones are now edited on a full-screen map: every zone of the server is on it, you pick one from the list or straight on the map, and you change its area right there — drag a corner, tap the + on an edge to add one, tap a corner to delete it. On phones a loupe above your finger shows what lies under it, and the list and settings slide up from the bottom while the map stays visible. Docs

DayZ 1.30 log events

dzbot now reads what DayZ 1.30 added to the server logs. New log events: rebuilding ruined buildings, clearing rubble, destroying base parts (chainsaw raids), repairing, getting hurt by animals and dogs, stepping into bear traps, being hit by infected, and on every login the queue position, queue priority and — on Xbox servers — whether the player is on a console or a Windows PC. All of them show up in the logs, can trigger actions and count for achievements. Docs

Two new marketplace actions build on them: Raid Feed posts every chainsaw raid (fence or gate destroyed at once) to Discord; Raid Autoban bans raids outside the raid times you set (e.g. weekends 18:00 – 23:59), or every raid if you set none — with a report-only mode to watch first. Docs

Good to know

  • Rebuilding ruined map buildings counts as base building: rebuilt houses appear in the base overview, count for the base-building leaderboard, and trigger no-build zones just like building a fence. Clearing rubble does not count. Destroying a fence with a chainsaw shrinks a base like dismantling it. Docs
  • The lists under the server map are gone: players, bases and zones are opened by clicking them on the map, layers are switched in the panel, and the base size filter moved into the panel under Bases. Docs
  • Hide on iZurvive map is now Hide on maps: a mod you hid from iZurvive is also left off the dzbot maps. Docs
  • Server admins only see faction markers with the new right admin.factions.see_markers, which no group has unless it holds every admin right. Docs
  • The "Your game server is reporting errors you can fix." banner is gone from admin pages — it fired too often on harmless messages. Server diagnostics still lists everything under Admin → Diagnostics; ignoring a finding now only moves it out of the open list. Docs
  • Players on the server map show their Discord picture, framed in their faction's colour — taken from the main account, so alts appear as who plays them. Crowded spots fold into one picture with a count. Docs
  • Players without map access see the guest map when the server shows one, instead of no map.
  • On the DayZ map, places of interest are coloured dots when zoomed out and icons when zoomed in, so a map with many layers stays readable.
  • Signed in on dzbot.de/map, you can switch to one of your servers: the map then shows that server's mod objects together with your markers there.
  • Zone settings are sorted by what they do: each rule says what it does in the game, exceptions only show once a zone has a rule, and rarely used map styling sits under "Fine-tuning". The zone list can be searched and filtered.
  • Build events now also say which part was built (e.g. wall_base_down).
  • New ticket level categories on Discord are hidden from everyone until a ticket lands in them.
  • Links to dzbot.de and the docs show a new preview image in Discord and on social media.

Fixed

  • Stashes (digging in and out) appear in the logs again — DayZ changed the log line and they had not been recorded since April.
  • A hit from a player who died a moment later is no longer dropped from the logs.
  • The zone link in the live map's list now opens that zone in the admin area instead of an empty page.
