A big update to the item wiki — game values in tabs, a weapon loadout, infected pages, compare and new item pictures — and an urgent fix for drivers who were renamed after running someone over.

Good to know​

  • Item pages in the wiki show the game's values in tabs: damage, fire rate, spread, recoil, jam chances and a ballistics chart for weapons, protection for clothing, food values per cooking stage, melee attacks, blast radius, battery runtime and repairs. On weapons with a loadout, the values follow the mounted attachments. Docs
  • Weapon pages have a loadout stage: tap a point on the weapon to choose stock, handguard, optic, muzzle, magazine and more, or mount a part straight from the attachment lists. The build sits in the link, so it can be shared. Docs
  • New pictures for every vanilla item in the shop and the wiki, all in one style: weapons with stock, handguard and magazine, vehicles fully assembled.
  • Where an item spawns shows on a small map in the item page, with a button into the full-screen map. Docs
  • Base-building items list every part with materials and tools, and how many shots, hits or explosives each part takes. Docs
  • A new wiki section for every kind of infected: health, headshot multiplier, attacks, loot and spawn zones per map. Docs
  • The item list becomes a sortable table of values when a category is picked, a compare page puts up to four items side by side, and crafting recipes show how to make an item and what it is used for. Docs
  • Item pages in your server's wiki show the shop price right under the description, with a link to the shop; the headings inside your server's website no longer repeat your server's name. Docs

Fixed​

  • Running someone over with a vehicle no longer renames the driver to the victim's name. Since DayZ 1.30 this could get the driver kicked as "not on the whitelist" or put the wrong name on the banlist; the affected accounts have their names back.
  • The wiki in a server's website no longer says "access denied" when the server has no wiki of its own; it says so and links the public DayZ wiki.
  • Several weapon pictures (Makarov PB, M249, the Groza parts, the pistol-grip BK-133) showed a white cloud of muzzle smoke; the new pictures are clean.
