v3.27.0

A big update, mainly about search: one search now runs through all of dzbot, and every list shares one filter bar. On top of that: a Cheating-Index page, ticket folders and group templates for new servers. If you use the developer API, read "Action needed" below.

Action needed

  • Developer API: the separate list endpoints (players, orders, tickets, restrictions, factions, transactions, bases, base alarms, zones, logs, log requests, item sets, subscriptions, actions, mods, scheduled jobs, bounties) are gone. Read lists through GET /api/admin/search/<type>, with the same filters, sorting and paging the admin area uses. Players, factions and tickets are filtered by id now, not by name. The docs have a table from each old endpoint to its type. If you call the dzbot API with a developer key: Docs
  • Cheating-Index right: the Cheating-Index (the page and the tile on the player dossier) has its own right now, "See the Cheating-Index" (admin.players.cheating_index). Owners have it. Grant it under Groups to the moderators who should see it; groups without the admin.* wildcard lost the dossier tile with this release. Docs
  • Ticket folder rights: grant "File Tickets into Folders" (admin.tickets.change_folder) and "Manage Ticket Folders" (admin.tickets.manage_folders) under Groups to any group that should use folders. Groups that already had "Change Ticket Status" or "Manage Support Levels" got them automatically. This concerns servers whose staff groups have no admin.* wildcard. Docs

One search across dzbot

Every top bar now has a search field: in the admin area, on your server's website for players and guests, and in the wiki. Players find their own orders, tickets, base alarms, transactions, subscriptions and places under "My account". Every list has the same filter bar, and its search, filters, sorting and page stay in the address, so you can bookmark or share a filtered list. Docs

A Cheating-Index page

The new page Players → Cheating-Index shows who on your server lands hit series unusually often, and why. Each player is compared with normal players and with players banned for cheating, with charts, the actual hit series linked into the logs, and the weapons and distances where they stand out. "Normal" is measured across every server on dzbot, so it works from day one. Bans can now carry "Reason: cheating", and those bans are what players get compared with. Docs

Ticket folders

Sort tickets by topic, like "Security check" or "Crazy rides", separately from their level. The ticket list has a new column on the left with your levels and folders. Every folder is its own Discord category, and a filed ticket's channel stays there even when the ticket is escalated. File a ticket with the folder tag on its page or with "Change folder"; a request type can file its tickets into a folder automatically. Docs

Dragging a ticket channel into another category in Discord now moves the ticket in dzbot too. Into a level's category, the ticket changes level (and leaves its folder); into a folder's category, it gets filed there. Docs

Group templates

New servers start ready to use, with four preconfigured groups: Owner, Admins, Moderators and Players. Players see every feature from day one instead of a nearly empty site, and owners switch off what they don't want. Existing servers get the same templates offered: the group list shows what a group hasn't taken yet, and Review lets you pick what to apply. Nothing changes on its own. Create group now starts from a template or empty. Docs

Good to know

  • The Log Explorer always searches a time window: the last 3 days unless you pick another, at most 3 months. The audit trail covers the last 3 months, at most 12. Log Explorer bookmarks from before still open the page, but without their filters. Docs
  • The admin transaction overview searches booking texts only once you pick a player or a faction. Across the whole server you can still filter by period, category, money in or out and amount. Docs
  • Action scripts: player.list({ search = … }) now finds players the way the admin player list does: by player, Discord, Steam or DayZ id, Discord name, former names and look-alike characters. A loop over a search can match more players than before.
  • Picking a player in a form (coupons, zones, tickets, alarms …) finds them by name. Looking a player up by an id or an old name stays with staff who may view players.
  • Admin player list: finds players by Discord, Steam or DayZ id, player id and former names, and filters by group, faction (or none), whitelist, online now, restriction, balance, first seen, last online and activity in a period. Activity also sorts by playtime and sessions. Each filter is one button that shows its value, with a reset at the end of the row. Docs
  • Admin order list: one search field (order code, item, player name) and filters for status with counts, player, faction, item set, item, payment method and order date. Orders with part of the money refunded show "partially refunded" as their own status. Docs
  • The ticket queue, restrictions and reviews use the common filter bar. The ticket queue gained filters for faction, who answers next and the opening date. Docs
  • Players find their tickets by words from the conversation, on the tickets page and in the top-bar search. Staff-only notes are never searched. Docs
  • The shop's search field filters kits across every category, and a price filter narrows the grid. Kits you can no longer order because you reached their limit show as sold out instead of disappearing. Docs
  • The top-bar search finds shop kits and categories, also for visitors on servers whose shop is open to everyone. On a server's website it also finds rules (opening them at that heading), custom pages, bets, bounties, the wiki and the server's own guides. Docs
  • Admin coupons, item sets and subscriptions use the common filter bar.
  • Every transaction page filters by period, category, money in or out and amount. The admin overview also lists faction treasury bookings for staff who may see them. Docs
  • The Base Alarms page lists every alarm that notifies you, including your factions' alarms and the ones you were added to. /base-alarm in Discord does the same. Docs
  • Sending money finds players on the organization's other servers by name, most recently seen first.
  • The base overview has an "All" status that includes bases with no signs left. Docs
  • The Log Explorer filters by faction (its members, plus their other accounts where you may see them), and a ticket's saved log search keeps its exact time window.
  • The audit trail filters by area, by the player affected or by who acted. The game audit is searchable and shows open and important findings first. Docs
  • The kill feed loads older kills with "Load more" for signed-in players and refreshes while you look at the newest. Docs
  • Faction lists in the shop and for guests find a faction by name, tag, flag or member name. Admins filter the faction list by member and sort it, and faction notes are searchable. Docs
  • Event pages (shop, guests, admin) have a search field, past events load page by page, and the participants tab finds a team by one of its members' names.
  • Actions, mods, custom mods and scheduled jobs: every list has a search field and filters. Creators search and filter their mods and actions too. Docs
  • The bookmaker and bounty pages have a search field, and settled bets load page by page. The admin lists of bets, bounties, custom wheel wins, referrals, site alerts and achievements have filters and a search. Docs
  • Accounting: the income and expense search finds a document number or a pasted Stripe id exactly, and the list shows the sum of what the filters find. Support payments filter by server, method, status and date. The inventory, receipt uploads and the organization's server list load page by page. Docs
  • The Players page on your server's website lists every public profile and filters as you type, without the two-letter minimum. Docs
  • The organization's player list finds a Steam or Discord id and filters by server and linked account.
  • The wiki has a search in its top bar for items, guides, buildings, infected and diseases. Its start page is now a hub with the areas, tools and guides. The item list matches several words in any order. Docs
  • The wiki doctor asks one yes/no question at a time: swipe the card (left no, right yes, up not sure) or tap, usually about five questions until it knows the disease. Docs
  • The wiki's server overview follows the server's Nitrado time settings. A server that starts at the same date after every restart shows only that month's temperature and the restart time; one that resets to the real date highlights the current month. Docs
  • What the map and the wiki read from your server files (spawns, loot, mod buildings) now refreshes every morning at 9:00 (Berlin time) instead of once a week. "Refresh now" works once an hour and has its own card under Settings → Map & Bases, usable by anyone who may change "Share loot settings". Docs
  • The Nasdara map has a "Tunnel entrances" layer with the entrance shafts of the irrigation tunnels. Docs
  • Searching a Discord channel or role picker finds names styled with Unicode fonts: "discord" finds 𝗗𝗜𝗦𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗗, ᴅɪꜱᴄᴏʀᴅ, 🅳🅸🆂🅲🅾🆁🅳 and the like.
  • Switching between English and German on a translatable field puts the cursor straight into that language's field.
  • Creating an invite link or server link in the creator space copies it to the clipboard right away.
  • On phones the ticket list's filters fold behind one "Filter" chip, and the level chain is a picker at the top.
  • The Nasdara guides on dzbot.de are up to date now that Badlands is out.

Fixed

  • Every morning around 07:00 German time the dashboard, server websites and bot commands could hang for up to three and a half minutes while the nightly backup ran. The backup no longer blocks anything and now runs at 08:00.
  • Developer API keys could not read anything that needs a right; every such request answered 403. A key now has exactly the rights given to it under Settings → API keys.
  • The Cheating-Index now also counts hits from logs before mid-July 2026, which it used to skip.
  • Staff who may assign tickets, add ticket participants, edit players, create orders or manage base alarms can pick players and factions in those forms without also needing the players or factions view right.
  • The player search on a server's website no longer finds a renamed public profile by the old in-game name.
  • A faction's Logs tab showed every log of the server until a member was picked; now it shows the faction's members.
  • Staff without the approve right saw every log request in the admin search; now they see only their own.
  • The referral details in the admin area were English only; they now follow the admin's language.
  • Players without access to bounties who open /bounties directly now see a no-access message instead of an empty list.
  • The scheduler list shows "Successful" for tasks that ran fine instead of the raw status.
  • The admin search shows the builder's name under a base it found through that player.
  • The Nasdara bunker guide no longer says night vision goggles only spawn in the bunker crate.
