v3.7.0

A feature release: hand out single server settings instead of all of them, a new review type for device switches, and automatic whitelisting of multi-accounts.

Single settings for moderators

You can now give a group single server settings instead of all of them. Under Groups → Access rights, Set individually below Edit all settings lists every settings area and every setting as its own right, searchable and filterable. Allow a whole area and deny one setting in it, or allow just one setting — for example let moderators switch the whitelist on and off and nothing else. A group with single settings sees exactly those on the settings page (unless it also has View all settings), only their switches in Discord /server, and the AI Companion can change exactly the same. Docs

Device switch reviews

On PlayStation and Xbox, DayZ makes an account wait before it can play when another account just left the same server from the same console. dzbot now reads that wait from the server log, works out which account was played before, and opens a Device switch review for the pair — catching second accounts nobody registered. Accounts already linked to the same device in device management are left out. It is separate from multi-account reviews and no existing automation reacts to it. Each switch shows who came after whom, when, the wait and the penalty step; the same links also appear on the player page under Possible alt accounts as Device. Docs

Whitelist multi-accounts automatically

New setting Auto-whitelist multi-accounts of whitelisted players (Settings → Whitelist & Accounts). When it is on, every account that shares a game device with a whitelisted player gets on the whitelist too, even on a server that account has never played on, as long as the device was seen on any server of your organization. Banned or blocked accounts stay off, and a banned player brings no one along. Docs

Good to know

  • Every review type can now be switched off under Organization → General: Browser matches open a review (on), Device switches open a review (on) and Ambiguous device switches open a review (off — several accounts left at that moment, often friends logging off together). Docs
  • Auto-whitelist linked players now only whitelists players who linked their account. Until now it also quietly whitelisted their device alts on the same server — that part is the new setting now. Servers that had the old setting on get the new one switched on with this release, so nothing changes for them.
  • Default groups can only be changed with Edit all settings: it decides which rights every player gets, so it cannot be handed out on its own.
  • Scheduled tasks of the type Change server settings can only be saved with settings the author may change. Until now the scheduler right alone was enough to schedule any setting change. Docs
  • When a save on the settings page is refused, the settings you may not change are marked.

Fixed

  • The player search in the coordinate picker's Places and Recent tabs opened behind the map; it opens in front again, so other players' places are selectable.
  • The owner filter on Admin → Subscriptions → Active Subscriptions was cut off and showed only its search field; the full list opens again.
  • Pressing Escape in an open dropdown inside a form panel closed the whole panel; it now closes only the dropdown.
