Notifications

The bell in the top bar of the admin area is your inbox. It collects what concerns you personally, across every server and organization you work on:

  • someone mentioned you in a task, an internal ticket note or a review comment,
  • a task or a ticket was assigned to you,
  • news on a task you follow โ€” a comment or a move to another column,
  • a task of yours is due tomorrow or overdue,
  • a player answered in a ticket assigned to you,
  • a reminder when a mention has waited a day for your answer.

The number on the bell (and on the app icon, if you installed dzbot) counts what is unread.

Read once, read everywhereโ€‹

Opening the task, ticket or review a notification is about marks everything about it as read โ€” on every device, even if you never clicked the notification itself. The bell, the app icon and the notifications on your phone follow. On an iPhone, a notification you already read elsewhere disappears the next time you open the app.

Your answerโ€‹

A mention is more than a notification: it stays under Your answer until you write on the task or ticket, or mark it Done, no answer needed. Reading it is not answering it. If you have not answered after a day, you get one reminder.

Push and Discordโ€‹

Under Settings in the bell:

  • Push โ€” turn it on per device (browser or installed app) to get notifications while dzbot is closed. On iPhone and iPad this works in the installed app: add dzbot to the home screen (Share โ†’ Add to Home Screen) and turn push on there.
  • Discord โ€” off by default. Turn it on per kind to also get a direct message from the bot. Needs a linked Discord account.

You choose per kind which of the two you want. The inbox always gets everything.

With the AI Companion and AI appsโ€‹

Ask the Companion "What's new?" or "Where am I needed?" โ€” it reads your inbox and the mentions waiting for your answer, and can mark them done or read when you ask.
