Events

Tournaments, races and team events your server runs. This page describes what a player sees and does.

Navigation path:

  • Shop โ†’ Events

The entry only appears once the server has at least one published event. The list is split into Running now, Upcoming and Past.

Looking without an accountโ€‹

Browsing the list and opening an event needs no login, as long as the server owner has left events visible to guests. Taking part does not: registration needs a player account linked to the server, and the page says so โ€” "Registration is open โ€” log in to take part."

Signing upโ€‹

What you do depends on how the event was set up.

Solo events โ€” one button. The entry fee is taken from your balance at that moment.

Team events โ€” somebody creates the team and pays their own entry fee. They get an eight-character join code and a link, and share either. Everybody who joins pays their own fee.

Leaving againโ€‹

While registration is still open, you can withdraw and get your fee back:

  • leaving a solo event refunds you
  • leaving a team as an ordinary member refunds you alone
  • if the person who created the team leaves, the team is disbanded and everybody in it is refunded

Once registration has closed, this stops. If staff withdraws or disqualifies you after that point, there is no refund, and any match you had open is scored as a walkover for your opponent.

Check-inโ€‹

Some events require you to check in before they start. If yours does, do it in the window the event gives you โ€” an event may treat a missing check-in as a no-show.

Moneyโ€‹

Entry fees and prizes use your normal balance on that server, the same one the shop uses. They show up in your transaction history like anything else.

The prize pot is built from the entry fees that were actually paid. A prize can be a fixed amount, a share of that pot, or both. A team prize is split evenly among its members, and anything that does not divide evenly goes to whoever created the team.

If the server cancels an event, every entry fee that has not already come back is refunded.

Following alongโ€‹

Depending on how the server configured it, you may get direct messages on Discord when your registration is confirmed, when somebody joins your team, when your pairing or starting position is known, and when a prize is paid out. Your server may also announce draws and results in a Discord channel.

Bettingโ€‹

Staff can attach a bet to a match. If they do, you bet through the ordinary bookmaker, and betting closes the moment the match starts. If the match is cancelled as a walkover or the event is called off, stakes come back.

Also in Discord: /event shows the events and lets you register, create or join a team and leave again โ€” see Discord commands.
