This page explains how server operators enable, configure and understand the casino slot machine.

What the slot machine adds
The slot machine is the simplest casino game: three reels, one lever, a fixed stake per spin and a jackpot shared by everybody on the server. Players play it on their own; the only thing they share is the jackpot and a feed of the latest wins.
Each reel shows one of twelve fruit-machine symbols, and every reel is drawn independently and with equal odds on the server. The browser only animates the result it is told.

How the jackpot works
The jackpot is one pool per server, and it is the bank for every slot win, not only for three diamonds:
- A losing paid spin puts 90 % of its stake into the pool.
- A losing free spin puts a share of the stake into the pool even though the player paid nothing. The share is the Casino Free Spin Jackpot Rate setting.
- A 2× or 10× win is paid out of the pool, and the pool shrinks by that amount. If the pool holds less than the win, the player only gets what is in it — and if the pool is empty, the win pays nothing.
- Three diamonds pay the entire pool. The pool then starts again at Casino Initial Jackpot.
A newly created server starts with a jackpot of 10,000. Casino Initial Jackpot only takes effect the next time somebody hits the jackpot; changing it does not touch the current pool.
What this means for your economy. Without the jackpot, a paid spin gives back about 52 % of its stake on average. Because the pool grows faster than the regular wins drain it, the difference is saved up and paid out as jackpots, so over a long run players get back roughly 69 % of what they stake. The rest leaves circulation — the slot machine is a currency sink. Free spins work the other way: they cost the player nothing, but their losses still feed the pool, so they add currency to the economy. At the default rate of 70 % they roughly pay for the regular wins they produce.
Settings

A few things worth knowing about the limits:
- Paid spins count over the last 24 hours, not per calendar day. A player who used up their spins at 8 p.m. can spin again from 8 p.m. the next day. The remaining count is not shown to players; they get a message once it is used up.
- Free games reset at midnight in the server's time zone, and they do not count against the paid spin limit.
- Free games are used automatically, before any paid spin. The server's daily free games go first, then
any bonus free games the player won on the Wheel of Fortune. Bonus free games are
stored on the player, do not reset, and exist even when Casino Free Games Per Day is
0.
The stake is a single value for every player, so a server with a large economy should raise Casino Bet together with Casino Initial Jackpot, or the machine becomes irrelevant.
Access
The slot machine is controlled by one player right:

There is no separate on/off switch and no admin management page. Players without the right do not see the slot machine, and if it is their only casino game they do not see the casino entry at all.
What operators should expect to see
Server Admin->Dashboard->Casinoshows spins played, the net effect on player balances and the most active players for the slot machine.- Slot stakes and winnings count towards the casino leaderboards. A free-spin win counts for the biggest single win, but without a multiple, because it had no stake.
- Every paid spin and every win appears in the player's transaction history as
Casino Slot BetandCasino Slot Win x2/x10; a jackpot win adds+ Jackpotand the amount. Free spins leave an entry of0so they can be counted. - The Latest wins feed on the slot page opens with up to ten slot wins from the last 24 hours — player name, amount and time — and adds new ones every few seconds while the page is open.
