A trader shop for your DayZ console server

On PC, a trader is a mod with an NPC. On PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2 there are no mods, so a console trader has to work differently: players shop outside the game and the server spawns what they bought. dzbot does exactly that — with a real shop on your server website, your own currency, and delivery to a spot the player chooses.

Short answer

dzbot gives Nitrado DayZ servers on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2 a trader shop paid with your own virtual server currency. Players order item kits on the server website, pick a delivery spot — on the map, from saved places, or where they last did an emote in-game — and the items spawn there after the next restart. There is no limit on items, categories or orders.

How an order works

  1. 01The player opens the shop on your server website — on a phone, too — and puts item kits in the cart. In Discord, /shop shows their balance and latest order and links straight to the shop.
  2. 02They choose where it goes: a saved place, a point on the map, coordinates, or the spot of their last emote in-game.
  3. 03They pay from their own balance or, if their faction allows it, from the faction treasury.
  4. 04At the next restart dzbot writes the order into the server's object spawner, and the items are lying at the chosen spot. The order is marked delivered.

What you can sell and how

  • Item kits with several items, a name, an image, a price and a category, ordered the way players should see them.
  • Limits per player — per day, week, month or forever — so rare items stay rare.
  • Items and whole categories only for chosen groups, for VIPs, supporters or a faction.
  • Spawn subscriptions: things that respawn at every restart, charged per restart and refunded automatically if the spot is blocked.
  • Coupons, favourites and a "frequently ordered" list for quick re-buys.
  • For admins: refunds by quantity, free re-deliveries, manual orders and gifts — every order with a short code players can quote in a ticket.

Where the money comes from

You decide how players earn your currency. Ready-made automations pay for kills, long shots, time online or Discord server boosts; bounties pay the hunter, events pay the winners, and the casino gives players something to spend on. Balances, transfers and every booking are visible to players and admins, so the economy stays traceable.

Console limits, honestly

  • Orders arrive after the next restart, not instantly — that is how object spawning works on console. Let dzbot run your restarts so no delivery is missed.
  • Items spawn on the ground at the chosen spot. There is no NPC to talk to in-game.
  • The server has to be hosted by Nitrado.

One price. Everything included. No other bots.

A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.

  • Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
  • Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
  • Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
  • Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
  • Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
  • Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting

Frequently asked questions

Can I have a trader on a PlayStation, Xbox or Switch 2 DayZ server?

Yes. Console servers cannot run trader mods, so dzbot runs the trader as a shop on your server website. Players pay with server currency and the items spawn at their chosen spot after the next restart.

When do players get what they bought?

At the next restart. dzbot writes the order into the server's object spawner and marks it delivered once the server has started.

How many items can my shop have?

As many as you like. dzbot has no limits on items, categories or orders per day — there is only one plan.

Can a faction buy together?

Yes. Faction members with the right permission can pay from the faction treasury; the order then shows up in the faction's order history.

What does the shop cost?

It is part of dzbot: 10 EUR per server per month with every feature, no add-ons. Free 14-day trial without a credit card.
