Factions for your DayZ server
Groups form on every DayZ server anyway. dzbot gives them a home: a faction with its own name and colours, a shared treasury, shared places on the map and a Discord role — run by the players themselves, so your admins do not have to keep a spreadsheet of who belongs to whom.
Short answer
dzbot lets players on your Nitrado DayZ server found factions with a name, colour, armband, flag and tag. Members join by invite, share a treasury with deposit and withdrawal rights per member, can pay shop orders from it, share places, item spawns and base alarms, and get a Discord role for members and leaders that stays in sync. Ranks bundle rights, cap daily withdrawals and pay a daily or weekly wage from the treasury, and factions can form alliances with each other. There is no limit on factions or members.

What a faction gets
- An identity: name, colour, armband, flag and a short tag that can appear behind every member's name on the website and as their Discord nickname.
- A shared treasury. Each member has their own rights — deposit, withdraw, order from the shop, manage members, edit the faction.
- Ranks such as Recruit, Soldier and Officer: a set of rights, a daily withdraw limit and a daily or weekly wage, paid automatically from the treasury to rank holders who played in that period.
- Alliances with other factions: one side asks, the other accepts in Discord or on the website, and either side can dissolve it again.
- Shop orders paid by the faction, with their own order history the treasurers can see.
- Shared places for deliveries, faction item spawns at every restart, faction base alarms and subscriptions.
- A Discord role for members and another for leaders, created, renamed and removed together with the faction.
- Location sharing on the map: if the server switches it on, each member decides for themselves whether their faction sees where they are.
Run by the players
Players found a faction on the server website and invite others. The invited player accepts in Discord or on the website; invites expire after seven days, and nobody can be in two factions at once. A leader cannot walk away and leave the faction without an admin, and when the last member leaves, the treasury goes to them and the Discord role is removed.
Admins keep full control: they can see every faction, add or remove members directly, book money into or out of a treasury and leave notes on a faction.
Factions everywhere else in dzbot
- A kill between members of the same faction is marked as a team kill, a kill between allies as an alliance violation, and hits between faction mates as friendly fire in the damage feed.
- Bans can cover a whole faction, and restrictions can watch one.
- Players can put a bounty on a whole faction: the first kill of any member collects it.
- Bounties, events and leaderboards show the faction next to the player.
- In Discord, /faction shows the faction, its members and treasury and answers invites.
One price. Everything included. No other bots.
A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.
- Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
- Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
- Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
- Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
- Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
- Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting
Frequently asked questions
Can players create factions themselves?
Yes, if you give them the right. They found the faction on the server website, invite members and manage it; admins can still change everything.
Do factions get their own Discord role?
Yes. Every faction gets a member role and a leader role, which dzbot creates, renames and removes with the faction and keeps in sync with its members.
Can a faction buy from the shop together?
Yes. Members with the order right pay from the faction treasury; refunds go back into the treasury.
Can factions pay their members a wage?
Yes. A rank can carry a daily or weekly wage that dzbot pays from the treasury to every rank holder who was on the server in that period. If the treasury cannot cover all wages, nobody is paid and the leaders get a Discord message.
Can factions form alliances?
Yes, unless you switch it off. Allies show on both faction pages and in Discord, and a kill between allies is marked as an alliance violation — what that means is up to your rules and actions.
Is there a limit on factions or members?
No. Factions are part of dzbot's one price — 10 EUR per server per month for every feature, no limits.
