Mods and automation for your DayZ server

Console servers cannot load Workshop mods, but they can change their mission files — the object spawner, the loot table, the events, the gameplay settings. That is where most "console mods" live. dzbot installs them for you, and its actions let your server react to what happens in the game without anyone watching.

Short answer

dzbot has a mod marketplace for Nitrado DayZ servers: install file-based mods with their own configurations, optional automatic updates and a clean uninstall, on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC — no file editing. Actions are small Lua scripts that run on game events such as kills, logins, base building or shop purchases and can pay money, send Discord messages, change roles, ban or place bounties. Ready-made actions come from the action marketplace — among them 13 Discord feeds, each with an event filter and a post you design with a live preview; your own are written in an editor with autocomplete, or by the AI assistant, and can post map pictures to Discord.

Mod marketplace

  • Search, prices and install counts; only mods that support your map are offered.
  • Free gameplay mods for what the Nitrado gameplay switches used to do and more: Hit Indicator, Night Lighting, Build Anywhere, no base or container damage, unlimited stamina and players on the map.
  • Several configurations per mod, set in forms, and optional automatic updates.
  • dzbot keeps the original files, so uninstalling restores a clean state.
  • Changes are applied with a dzbot-managed restart.
  • Custom mods for your own file changes, and creator tools to build, version, publish and sell mods to other servers.
  • Server diagnostics collect the errors DayZ writes about your types.xml, events and spawner files, so a broken file does not go unnoticed.

Actions: your server reacts by itself

An action runs when a game event comes in — a kill, a connection, a base being built — or when something happens in dzbot, such as a bounty, a bet, a support payment or a new review. It knows where the event happened, including the zones you drew, and what kind of kill it was. With Lua functions for balances, Discord messages and roles, bans, player variables, map locations, map pictures with markers and routes, and calls to outside web services, it can do what a feature request would otherwise wait months for.

Settings fields do the rest without code: an event filter picks zones, distance, weapons or items, kill labels and the faction, group or variables of the players involved, and a Discord post field lets moderators design the message with a live preview of how Discord will show it.

Ready-made from the action marketplace

  • Discord feeds for logins and logouts, building, placements, five kinds of PvE death, long-range kills, kill streaks, a kill feed with kill labels and an admin kill feed with positions.
  • Kill rewards that can follow the victim's K/D and skip fresh spawns.
  • A daily, weekly or monthly wage for a dzbot group.
  • Spawn-kill reports to a moderation channel, or bans for spawn campers.
  • Automatic bounties for kills in chosen zones.
  • Welcome messages for new Discord members, rewards for Discord server boosts and playtime.
  • Settings fields so moderators change behaviour without touching code, and separate rights for settings, marketplace and code.
Run actions on a schedule

One price. Everything included. No other bots.

A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.

  • Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
  • Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
  • Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
  • Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
  • Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
  • Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting

Frequently asked questions

Can I install mods on a PlayStation, Xbox or Switch 2 DayZ server?

File-based mods, yes: dzbot installs changes to the mission files Nitrado allows on console. Workshop mods with their own code are not possible on console.

Do I need to know Lua?

No. Ready-made actions from the marketplace only need their settings filled in, and the AI assistant can write and check a script for you.

Can dzbot post logins, building or PvE deaths to Discord?

Yes. Install the matching feed from the action marketplace, pick a channel, narrow it down with the filter and design the post with the live preview.

Can I sell my own mods?

Yes. Creators can build, version, publish and sell mods in the dzbot creator marketplace.

Are mods and actions included in the price?

Actions and the marketplace are part of dzbot's one price — 10 EUR per server per month. Some creators charge for their mods; the price is shown before you install.
