// alt accounts & ban evasion

Catch alt accounts and ban evasion on your DayZ server

Banning a player is easy. Keeping them out is the hard part: a second account on the same console, a new Discord account, a friend's login. dzbot collects the traces that connect accounts — from the server logs and from the server website — and puts every suspicious connection in front of your team as a case to decide.

Short answer

dzbot links accounts that played on the same game device, so bans, the whitelist and rankings can cover all of them, and it opens a review when accounts share a browser or an internet address on the server website, when someone links a freshly created Discord account, when two accounts of one device are online at the same moment, or when a console account switches to another on the same PlayStation or Xbox. Each case shows the accounts and evidence as a graph; ready-made actions can ban, DM, open a ticket or post to Discord, and one verdict counts on every server of your organization.

What dzbot looks at

  • Game devices: accounts that played on the same device are linked, and bans, the whitelist, bounties and leaderboards treat them as one player.
  • Shared browser or address: two accounts signing in to the server website from the same browser profile or internet address.
  • Fresh Discord accounts: a player links a Discord account that was created shortly before — the usual way a banned player comes back.
  • Account sharing: two accounts of one device online at the same time, so the second account is being played by someone else.
  • Console account switches: on PlayStation and Xbox, DayZ makes the next account on a console wait before it can join. dzbot reads that wait from the server log and names the account played before.

Reviews instead of automatic guesses

A shared address can be a household, and a new Discord account can be a new player. dzbot does not ban on suspicion: it opens a review that your team works like a ticket — take it, look at the graph of accounts and evidence, add notes, link tickets and decide. Accepted combinations stay accepted, and the decision applies on every server of your organization.

If you want speed over judgement, ready-made actions from the marketplace react the moment a review opens: ban the accounts, send a DM, open a ticket or post the case to a staff channel, and close the review with a note of what they did.

What dzbot is not

dzbot is not an anti-cheat. It does not see the game client and cannot detect or block cheat software; on PC that is BattlEye's job. What it does is find the people behind rule breaks and keep banned players from coming back — and react to what the logs show, such as kills in a no-kill zone or spawn kills.

Safe zones and automatic bans

One price. Everything included. No other bots.

A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.

  • Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
  • Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
  • Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
  • Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
  • Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
  • Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting

Frequently asked questions

Can dzbot detect alt accounts on PlayStation and Xbox?

Yes. On console it uses the wait DayZ imposes when a second account joins from the same console, plus device links, shared browsers and addresses on the website, and fresh Discord accounts.

Does a ban cover a player's other accounts?

It can. A ban can cover all accounts linked by device, and with an organization also all of your servers.

Does dzbot ban automatically on suspicion?

Only if you install an action that does. By default every finding is a review your team decides.

Is it an anti-cheat?

No. dzbot cannot see cheat software. It finds alt accounts and ban evasion and reacts to rule breaks in the server logs.

Is multi-account detection included?

Yes. Reviews are part of dzbot's one price — 10 EUR per server per month for every feature.
