Base alarms for your DayZ server

Nothing hurts more in DayZ than logging in to an empty base. A base alarm cannot stop a raid, but it tells you — and your whole faction — that somebody is at your walls, even while you are offline, so you can log in, get there or at least know who it was.

Short answer

dzbot puts a watch radius around a base on your Nitrado DayZ server. When a player who is not on the alarm's allowed list shows up inside it in the server logs, the owner, extra recipients or the whole faction get a Discord DM, or the alert goes to a channel. Alarms can be free or cost server currency per hour, and players see who was near their base in the last 30 days.

Platforms
PC, PlayStation (PS4/PS5), Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2
Requires
A DayZ server hosted by Nitrado and a Discord account
Price
10 EUR per server per month, up to 14 days free trial, no credit card

How it works

  1. 01A player opens Base alarms on the server website. The position is filled in from the last flag they raised — or for a faction alarm, from the faction's spawn point.
  2. 02They choose who gets the alert: themselves, extra players, or every member of their faction.
  3. 03dzbot checks every positioned event in your server logs against the radius. A player on the allowed list — and their other accounts on the same device — never triggers it.
  4. 04Everyone else does: the recipients get a DM, or the alarm posts into its own Discord channel.

Details that matter

  • Personal and faction alarms, each with extra recipients.
  • A timeline of who was near the base in the last 30 days.
  • Alarms can be switched off and on or muted straight from Discord with /base-alarm.
  • Base alarms and intruders are shown on the live map to the people who may see them.
  • Free, or paid by the hour from the player's balance or the faction treasury; free base alarms can be a prize on the Wheel of Fortune.
  • Admins can create alarms for players and change the radius.

Honest about timing

dzbot sees what the server writes to its logs, and Nitrado delivers those logs usually within 5–15 minutes. A base alarm therefore reports a visit after it started, not the second someone steps into the radius. That is often enough to log in and catch a raid in progress — and always enough to know who was there.

One price. Everything included. No other bots.

A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.

  • Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
  • Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
  • Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
  • Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
  • Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
  • Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting

Frequently asked questions

Does the base alarm work on PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2?

Yes. dzbot reads the server logs through Nitrado, so base alarms work the same on PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2 and PC.

How fast is the alert?

As fast as Nitrado delivers the logs, usually within 5–15 minutes. No log-based bot can be faster.

Can my whole faction get the alert?

Yes. A faction alarm notifies every member, and you can add extra players to any alarm.

Do base alarms cost extra?

Not for you as the owner — they are part of dzbot's one price of 10 EUR per server per month. You decide whether players pay for them with server currency.
