// restarts & scheduler
Restarts and a scheduler for your DayZ server
On a DayZ server, the restart is the heartbeat: loot respawns, shop orders arrive, mod changes take effect. dzbot runs your restarts on a schedule, uses each one to deliver what players bought, and does the other recurring jobs on the same clock.
Short answer
dzbot's scheduler runs tasks on your Nitrado DayZ server once or on a schedule (hourly, daily, weekly, monthly): restarts, vehicle wipes that spare vehicles bought in the shop, setting changes, mod installs and configuration changes, switching actions on and off, running an action with its settings, or your own Lua script. Each task can post to Discord when it finishes or fails.
- Platforms
- PC, PlayStation (PS4/PS5), Xbox, Nintendo Switch 2
- Requires
- A DayZ server hosted by Nitrado and a Discord account
- Price
- 10 EUR per server per month, up to 14 days free trial, no credit card
What you can schedule
- Restarts — every restart delivers the shop orders and spawn subscriptions waiting for it.
- Vehicle wipes, sparing vehicles players bought in the shop unless you tick the box.
- Setting changes, for example switching the whitelist on at night.
- Installing and uninstalling mods and changing their configuration — a raid weekend without the no-damage mods, or darker nights with Night Lighting.
- Switching actions on and off, changing their settings, or running an action — a marketplace action such as Group Wage, or your own.
- Your own Lua script on a clock, for a daily reward or a recurring announcement.
How tasks run
- Once at a set time, or hourly, daily (several times a day), weekly on chosen weekdays, monthly by date or by weekday such as "first Monday".
- In your server's timezone.
- Run now, pause, duplicate; every task keeps a log.
- A Discord message after each run, or only on success.
- From Discord, /server shows the last and next restart and restarts the server, telling you how many waiting orders the restart will deliver.
Settings dzbot keeps right
Feeds, the map and alarms need certain Nitrado log settings. dzbot switches them on when you connect, checks them every day and tells you on the dashboard if one cannot be set. The map your server runs is a setting too: change it in dzbot and the server loads it at the next restart.
One price. Everything included. No other bots.
A DayZ server is more than the game server: it is the Discord around it and the bots that run it. dzbot is 10 EUR per server per month, and that gets you every feature — no free tier with limits, no premium tier, no add-ons, no daily caps. Everything below is in that one price.
- Instead of a kill feed bot: kill feed, damage feed, ready-made feeds you design yourself, leaderboards and bounties
- Instead of a trader or economy bot: trader shop with delivery, balances, faction treasuries and casino
- Instead of Ticket Tool or another ticket bot: tickets with forms, support levels and a web inbox
- Instead of a verification and role bot: account linking and roles that follow the game
- Instead of separate admin tools: bans, whitelist, safe zones, alt detection and searchable logs
- Instead of a PayPal link in a Discord channel: player support payments straight to your bank account, with accounting
