List your DayZ server for free

Players look for their next DayZ server on dzbot.de/servers: by map, platform, region, language and how full a server really is. Your server can be on it for free. dzbot reads your server’s logs and files for the list; it doesn’t change your files or player lists unless you want it to.

Short answer

Sign in with Discord, connect the Nitrado account your server is rented with and pick the server. It shows up on the dzbot server list right away, with player numbers that dzbot measures from your logs. The listing is free and stays free; you don’t pay anything and don’t have to change how you run your server.

What your listing shows

  • Map, platform (PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Switch 2), region and slots, read from Nitrado.
  • Real activity: players online now, the 7-day average and peak, unique players and the busiest hours, measured from your server logs instead of self-reported.
  • Your own words: a description in up to two languages, playstyle tags, a banner and a page of your own.
  • A Discord button, from your invite link or from the dzbot bot if you add it.
  • Fresh-wipe and new-server badges, so new servers get seen.

Nothing changes without your consent

dzbot reads your server’s logs and files to measure activity and fill in the list’s filters. It does not change your files, does not write your ban list, whitelist or priority list and does not restart your server — not until you switch that on yourself.

The only thing dzbot switches on in your Nitrado settings are the log options it reads from (admin log, player list, building and placement logs). They take effect on your next restart.

How to get listed

  1. 01Sign in with Discord.
  2. 02Sign in to Nitrado with the account your server is rented with and pick the server.
  3. 03Name your server, pick its address and write a few lines about it. Player numbers fill in on their own.

If you want more later

Want a kill feed in your Discord? That is free too: invite the dzbot bot, pick a kill feed channel, and every kill and environment death is posted there — without limits or daily caps, also on dzbot Free.

For the first 14 days every Pro feature is unlocked for you to try: damage feed, trader shop, tickets, factions, base alarms and more. Nothing of it starts unless you switch it on. Afterwards your server moves to dzbot Free, and the listing, your server website, wiki, map and Discord kill feed stay free.

Frequently asked questions

Is the listing really free?

Yes. Listing a server costs nothing, now and after the trial. You don't need a credit card and you don't have to buy dzbot Pro.

Can I get a Discord kill feed for free too?

Yes. dzbot Free includes a kill feed in your Discord without limits: invite the dzbot bot and pick the kill feed channel under Settings → Discord. The damage feed and the rest of the Discord bot are dzbot Pro.

Do I have to change anything on my server?

No. dzbot reads your server logs and files. It doesn't change files, player lists or restarts unless you switch that on yourself.

What does dzbot change on my server?

It switches on the Nitrado log options it reads from (admin log, player list, building and placement logs). It does not restart your server, change files or touch your player lists.

Which servers can be listed?

DayZ servers hosted by Nitrado on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Switch 2. You sign in with the Nitrado account the server is rented with.

Where do the player numbers come from?

From your server logs. dzbot counts who is online, so the numbers on the list can't be inflated, and they update on their own.

Can I take my server off the list again?

Yes, with one switch under Listing in the admin area, or by disconnecting the server.
